Christmas in ESO

Christmas is almost here. With less than 12 days left until Christmas we figured now is a good time to start the events for it! Starting on December 16th and ending by December 27th, various quests and events will be added to the game.

Come spend your Holidays in ESO with the various events. Starting on December 16th you can participate in the Christmas Card Exchange. This will happen every day and you can exchange coins for Holiday Prizes.

The second event will have penguins! You can help adopt a Penguin, which will have you go through a series of quests to receive a Penguin Pet.
The third event, Santa’s Assistant will have you help Santa by preparing and delivering presents to some kids.

Finally, the fourth event, Gift Unwrapping will be the spawning of Christmas presents in Pokari on Christmas Eve. Go unwrap as many presents as you can for free loot! Check out some of the details of each of the events below.

Christmas Card Exchange

Share your Christmas Spirit with the upcoming Christmas Card Exchange quest. Starting on December 16th, the Christmas Card Vendor will be in the Pokari Square. Talk to him and get a Christmas Card. You can get up to one card per day. Once you have a card, you can exchange it with someone else. Each card you get will have a color associated with it, and you will have to trade your card with someone else of the matching color.

When you successfully trade a card with someone else, you will both get two turtle coins, which you can use to exchange for Christmas Gifts.
Here are the gifts that you can receive:

1 Turtle Coin – 99 Egg Tarts
2 Turtle Coins – 1 Egg Tart, 3 Event Token
3 Turtle Coins – (2 Turtle Coin Prize) + 1 Turkey
4 Turtle Coins – (3 Turtle Coin Prize)+ 5 Moon in Water (Consumable that has a slight chance to stun a mob or you)
5 Turtle Coins – (4 Turtle Coin Prize) + 1 Godly Etherlic Pack
6 Turtle Coins – (5 Turtle Coin Prize) + 5 Orb of Spirit
7 Turtle Coins – (6 Turtle Coin Prize) + 1 Pet’s Esteem Ver 3.0
8 Turtle Coins – (7 Turtle Coin Prize) + 1 Fragenberry
9 Turtle Coins – (8 Turtle Coin Prize) + 1 Refined Jade of Fog
10 Turtle Coins – (9 Turtle Coin Prize) + 1 Snowman Transformation Card
11 Turtle Coins – (10 Turtle Coin Prize) + Snowman Coldy Pet

Penguin Adoption Quests

The winter has brought on the cold weather, and the penguins have followed. Help adopt a penguin by talking to Santa’s Assistant. He will have a series of tasks for you to complete before you can have your own little penguin. For all of the people who have been nice throughout the year, Santa’s Assistant will make your tasks a little bit easier. For the ones who have been naughty, Santa’s Assistant may require more effort from you before you can adopt a penguin. You can only do this quest once.

Santa’s Assistant

Help Santa by preparing some gifts and delivering them to kids around the world. The quest will involve collecting ribbons for the gift wrapping as well as other goodies. After you deliver the gifts to the kids, you will receive experience tokens as your reward. You can only do this quest once.

Gift Unwrapping Event

Starting on Christmas Eve, presents will spawn around Pokari. The boxes will respawn until the end of day on Christmas. Loot the boxes for the chance to get various items. Santa filled up all the boxes with various goodies.
