Here's my guide for the level 60 job change quest! It appears someone made their own while I was in the process of making this one but oh well >_< I made this thread before then, so I'm not leaving it empty.
1. When you level...
Stock up on pots, stones, evasion, defense, vitality scrolls, and a cleric buff. If these are good enough for me, they're more than good enough for the rest of you!
Go to grand master Sean,
not your class master, like Wishis i.e.
2. Part 1... Night of the Living Dead!! :O
He tells you he has a rellick for Rumenus and for you to take it to him. So you are then ported to Roumen,
supposedly. When you get there, it looks normal, except all the noobs have "???" over them. You walk up to Rumenus, he disappears, and the area darkens up with a fog. Zombies spawn all around you, and go after you. They have a large aggro range so don't bother trying to avoid mobs. Once you've killed the zombies by the fountain, make your way towards the area with Robin, you should have them all killed by time you get to where the smith should be. It will say success! Like in a KQ.. but.. you
aren't done, don't celebrate yet. You are then ported back to Forest of Mist. Don't talk to Sean, go to Roumen.
3. Part 2... Gambling for your level.
Before doing anything.. I suggest you restock up on w/e you need. Me, I restocked on HP stones for safe measure. When you're feeling secure, go to Rumenus. Talk to him, and when you're done you will be ported to a Casino themed room. Theres a guy there that tells you to choose a dice and spin the wheel. So.. you click on a random dice, then on the wheel, and the tiles start to light up. If you're unlucky enough to choose the wrong dice, trumpies and elf demons will spawn and go after you. When they're dead you spin again. Basically its the same process til you choose the right dice. When you have chosen the right one, the large playing card doors will open. Walk on through and be ready to fight. When you're in, a large joker trumpy guy thing spawns and attacks you. Kill it. Unfortunately he stuns, but he doesn't do that much damage so it should be fine. When you've killed him, "SUCCESS" comes across the screen again. Nope, you're still not done. You're then ported back to Roumen.
NOTE: He drops an item for the quest, it might not be very noticeable, but grab it!
4. Part 3... Roumen and Elderine
Before going back to Rumenus, go restock again. This is the part that does the most damage. When feeling secure, go back to Rumenus and talk to him. When you're done talking to him, Roumen starts to flash light and dark(cheesy graphics lawl), and then you're ported to Ancient Elven Woods. You get 5 minutes to find Elderine and Roumen. Go straight and then the first right, they will be by a fire pit. They start talking about things going after them. Soon, a group of monsters spawns, various kinds, FoS-type (not stonies). You have to defend the two of them. Don't panic if they're getting hit, but still, try to keep them off of them. This will repeat til the time is up, each time the spawns getting larger and larger. The fighting will go on til the last seconds, so don't freak out if you have like 1 minute left. It took me about less than a minute to kill the whole mob. Once time is up, and you've killed all of the mobs, it will display "SUCCESS". Now, you have officially passed the quest. They hand you a Necklace of Rumen. No.. not a legendary necklace of roumen ;p its a quest item. You will be ported to Roumen where you go talk to Rumenus again. Once done, a little announcement will come up on the screen saying you have just become level Enchanter/Warrior/Paladin/Scout. Congratulations! You will then be able to choose between weapons, and you've received 10 stat points ^^ Choose wisely!
My own tips:
- Don't let your HP get past 1/2 on part 3
- wait til the mobs come to you, except in part 1.
- Buy at least 2 of each scroll, in case the whole series takes you longer than an hour.
- Archers, use poison. Fighters, use mock. Mages, use magic burst. Clerics, sucks for you D: Although healing yourself will help keep aggro =D And empowering Bash will help too.
Random Info:
- No clerics can't heal Elderine and Roumen.
- Each area gives you 20 minutes to pass.
- No, that wasn't an equipable necklace of Roumen.
