Hi all! How are ya during the lockdown? Kids drive you crazy?

I'm fairly well, one of the perks of being a software developer is the ability to work from home remotely with minimal issues.

I'm managing ok (I could've sworn I posted in one of the other threads but it seems to have disappeared since?)
Myself and my fiance both work in software also (I'm a games developer and she's a web developer) so the working from home life has been treating us well also

I am definitely missing lazy weekends socialising in a pub garden in the sun nowadays. It's been a very busy time at work lately so it's been keeping me busy.

Hope you're doing well! It would be good to catch up sometime, I'm PhantomBadger#6211 on discord if you have that

Edit: I just went down memory lane reading my old posts and such and God it makes me cringe at times haha

I've been doing okay. I live in New York, and our state was obviously hit hard (mostly the city, though). I've worked all throughout this. Haven't caught it, though!

I've been doing well too. I live in New York as well. Moved in January so I haven't really had the chance to experience the city because of the lockdown. I also work as a software engineer so I've been fortunate enough to continue with my job working from home.

I'm actually enjoying working from home but for my job, I earn more seeing people face to face. Plus, the Australian government is going to nuke Telehealth items in September. *sigh*

Sad to see what's happening with COVID-19 but I also see some good things come out of it. Like people being more educated about hygiene! We are lucky here in Australia, things flaring up in Victoria but hopefully that will get under control again.

I graduated with a bachelor of computer science in May. Struggled getting a work permit due to covid in Canada but now my application is clear, I've been looking for junior software jobs :'D
