Assist Button?

Was wondering what that Assist 'emote' (the one that looks like a bullseye) was for? I tried it but didn't seem to work...

I used to use that all the time on my archers and mages. It's very useful actually and not enough people use it.

It's like a target of my target thing. Click the tank, or whoever, then hit the assist emote and your target will switch to whatever they are targeting.

REALLY?!?!! Wow I never knew that! I remember trying to figure out what it does when someone asked me once, lol! Except I was trying when I wasn't grinding so obviously that didn't help! Hahaha!

Yeah, I remember hearing people saying they wish the game had that feature all the time and as far as I know it's always been there. It helps keep stuff organized if the archers/mages focus on the same stuff as the their tank I think.

Now if there's a way to cycle through friendly targets I'd like to know how to do that. It would really help for healing non-partied people in KQs.

Every MMO has some kind of feature like this.
I don't use it myself, but it sure is handy if you want to target that tiny mob that's being ganked by 10 people. I find it harder to click on the tank than the mob itself, since the tank is moving most of the time or theyr'e 2 players standing on the same grid.

Won't be much of a problem if the tank is in your party.

Assist is great, but it's also very lag prone - if I have the slightest lag, I have to press it 5 times or so until it works. >.>

Assist is Mage's best friend ^^ In Aoe pty, I target tank and wait for him to attack and i attack the same mob that way the mob that i'm focusing on won't be coming at me.
