Pvp mage skill build pls?

well, no idea what lvl you are so i wouldnt know how many more skill points you would have. But other than that, empowering Ice bolt seems fine to me.

BTW... dont empower too many low lvl skills since you would need to save them for nova and other AoE skills at high lvls unless you want to spend lots of money on skill reset scrolls

^ I don't think magic missile power and purge CD should be empowered though.

Magic missile will be too weak anyway at later levels compared to other skills even if it's empowered in power. It is better to empower a stronger skill (say Fire Ball or something) to boost the damage, so you can deliver large blows. Spamming magic missile in PvP will only get lower the chances of you winning.. I find that when you PvP as a mage, you gotta be able to kill in a short amount of time.

Purge is useful in PvP but not useful enough to invest skill points in it.

Stifle would be something more useful to invest in if you want to PvP. Either in CD or in duration. Not sure, I'm still one level away from that skill so I haven't been able to use it yet.

If you're really eager to put all your points into PvP, then I guess you could do both Fear duration + CD. But... keep in mind that investing so many points in PvP disabling skills will render you not so PvE-efficient.. but that's your choice/preference, I guess. xD

But yes, I had put in duration for Fear and I like it. I haven't not empowered the CD of it though.

I actually suggest you to save up your skill points till later levels, rather than add them as you get them as tempting as it may be. Regretting putting in skill points is a pain the neck and skill resets are hella expensive.

Generally, your first few skills are not worth empowering in power. Usually, I hear people saying they empower the power of Fire Ball because that's the most powerful skill, but you don't get that till 53.

I'd say to start off with empowering the CD of your magic missile first since that's pretty much the mages' bread and butter in the first lot of levels, but save your points. I have saved 19+ points until I reached level 60+, which is when we start getting the better skills (+ the PvP disabling skills!).

Through out levels 1-60, I only empowered the magic missile CD (5 points) and magic burst power (5 points).

Though, magic burst is your only AoE skill from level 20-60, but it's actually not worth empowering (and not really useful in PvP either). With other AoEs, I don't use magic burst as much now.. so it kind of becomes useless at higher levels.

Thank you very much isuma ur guide helped me alot but where can i get magic blast, fire ball scrolls etc etc? are they being sold in the npc? if yes where can i buy it? :P
