Behold!

I was looking through the local used game store when i found this hidden gem
lying around, At first i thought "Oh great, Another RPG"

But i was wrong, Like a mix of Final Fantasy and Dark Cloud, This game completely nailed the real time hack and slash, There are a ton of weapons to choose from as well as using multiple weapons at one, With a left handed weapon of your choice, And a right, A mini crossbow and a staff, For example.
The story is epic, If not better. The maps are more like an ode to Mabinogi dungeons. (But much less annoying) Skill can be leveled up, Weapons upgraded, New clothes can be bought regularly, (And they are even the same in Cinematics as well!) Tons of each type of weapon as well.

Think i'm done? WRONG!

It's an MMO for your 360. That's right, When connected to the Internet, it installs updates to make the game that much better. And then you can purchase the sequel/expansion "Ambition of the Illuminus" It adds even more stuff and even more storyline. As well as expanding the online world around you. Parties can be formed to raid dungeons, And your personal robot in your apartment can manufacture special items for you. You can be either sex and a range of races, Human, CASTS, You name it. I definitely reccomend this game to anyone that is a fan of fantasy, Or real time battle games. Just make sure you beat the 1p story before you play online. Or much will be spoiled.

The story so far:

You are Ethan Waber, A 17 year old hard-working guy at the GUARDIANS base. it's where your family lived before your father died, And it's where you and your sister live now.

You must head to the GUARDIANS 100'th anniversary at the Flyer base. But on the way, A pickpocket snags your sisters Meseta card (Meseta=money)
So you chase after him, After you finally catch up, You are surrounded by the pickpockets' accomplices, And there, They introduce themselves as the Vol brothers, Three of them, A GUARDIAN busts in just as they attempt to maul you and breaks things up, But ethan is not amused, He dislikes GUARDIANS for the sole reason that hi father died on a GUARDIAN mission, So he begins to verbally beat down the GUARDIAN, who later introduces himself as "Berafort S. Leogini" Or Leo for short, After you return the card to your sister and head off to the Flyer base, An unexpected crash hits the base, And everything is thrown into chaos.
As the rubble falls, Your sister is trapped behind some of it. To get to her, You must go around the docking station. As you set off to rescue her, You are stopped by Leo, Who is evacuating residents of the Base. You aregue with him to let you go, and he hesitantly accepts. As you set out through the winding corridors, Leo begins instructiong you in everything you need to know to make it to the destination, Via comlink.
With all of this comes some basic equipment to help you, A sword, Handgun and some goggles. As you wind your way around, You meet up with the Vol brothers, But since they need your help, They are more then happy to suck up to get it, As they follow you around, You arrive at the docking station, And they leave you to continue their own buisiness, As you continue to move, You encounter a strange mob of monsters known as the SEED, Leo instructs you to eliminate these monsters, And as you finish, You are reunited with your sister, A timejump of three years is made. As Ethan has a life-changing revelation, Helping people felt....good!

Three years later:

Ethan has jut completed GUARDIANS training school, And is coming out of bed as his personal robot XR008 (Now known as "Pete" by ethan" Tells him that he has a new terminal message. It's from the GUARDIANS HQ. They have assigned you your first official GUARDIANS trainee mission, As well as assigned you a new instructor, They instruct you to pick up your permit to Planet Parum, You are to meet your instructor there. As you ick up your permit, You are told that your instructor is female.
As you arrive on Parum, You notice that a large number of citizens are CASTS, Part robotic humanoids, And they do not like GUARDIANS one bit. As you arrive in the Cafe' in the west wing, You meet up with an old Classmate, Hyuga Ryght, As he is womanizing a nearby waitress, Ethan makes a comment on how Hyuga never changes, And brags that his instructor is a girl, Hyuga also says his is a girl, And as they both wait, They are met by a fellow GUARDIAN named Karren Erra, Who claims to be the instructor for both of them, When questioned why it's 2 to an instructor, Karren explains that all of the higher-ranked GUARDIANS are on missions to purify local SEED infestations.
As they wait for their first mission at the Parum HQ, They are told a local Farm owner is missing in a previous SEED raid, And they must retrieve him, Simple and sweet.
