This purpose of this week's maintenance is to relocate the Fiesta servers, and as such will take longer than usual. So here's a little background on what's going on. GM Velfarre dropped a quarter and it went rolling along the floor into a crack in the wall. Knowing that he could buy 25 whole pennies with that quarter, Velfarre of course went after it. He found a secret switch, and the whole wall swung open to reveal a hidden room.
Inside was none other than GM Kobal, who was face-deep in a bowl of curry. Kobal was so startled by Velfarre's discovery of his secret hiding/eating spot that he threw the bowl in surprise. The curry landed on a nearby control panel and completely fried the anti-bear security system!! So now GM Wishbone, wearing a protective suit of styrofoam packing peanuts, is standing guard at the door until we can move the server to a more secure location.
That being said, the servers will be shutting down starting at
10:00PM PDT, and the maintenance has a planned completion time of
4:00AM PDT, for a total of
6 hours. Check the server announcements located in the Fiesta forums for updates in case the process is completed any sooner (or later).
