I'm about to do my job change quest for my archer, who just turned 20. There's an AOE you can get after you become a HawkArcher. I've watched AOE videos on Youtube and I still can't figure out how you use them, as in terms of selecting the area to attack (not what an AOE is). I see that you use ur mouse to select the area, but do you first need to click the skill and then select the area? It seems time consuming unless you're using it as your first attack on a mob.

Yeah, you put it in your hot key then click the area to shoot.

But that AoE isn't really practical for kiting or anything. Most people don't use it. Once you hit... 51 you get the Poison Mist which is what you'll be using to AOE kite. That skill is nice if you put on your mouse wheel (if you have it) so that when you're running around you click the wheel then the area ahead or on top of you.

Thanks ^^ Haha I figured it out and I've been overusing it xD It's my first AOE (main is a cleric) ...now I can't wait for level 51 on my archer :O But I just hit 51 on my cleric >.< I had spring break this week so I've been going on all of my characters but during the school year I only focus on my cleric :P
