New to Cleric Char, need help!

Ok so i just made a new cleric, (didn't have one yet)
And so i was wondering whats the best stat build?
i no it has alot to do with ur personal preferences so heres what i plan on doing with this cleric:
-Just mostly party
-Probably gonna have to grind though when i reach higher lvls and stuff =\
-i can probably afford to get +9's cuz i'm starting to get the hang of making money in-game =]

so any suggestions?

Hmm

I quite enjoyed the 5% crit rate I get from 25 SPR, I found it really useful esp when we don't have too many atk skills...

My character also has 50 END, since we use shields, our END would increase block rate as well...

The problem is after 50 END, 25 SPR, what do I do? I didn't want to split my stats into 3 places, and these effects starts diminishing... os i went rest SPR for the crit rate xD

I'm not sure if that's a good built but it was too late for me to change...

I guess instead of the SPR, you could go STR/END built....

I think END is quite important as a support cleric.. (do you know if u're gonna party with a mage/archer or Fighter?)

but its okay, i just had to reread what u wrote =]
so STR/END seems like what i'm looking for but still not sure

umm, i'm most likely gonna party with a fighter, if that helps u, help me =D

I was thinking, partying with a fighter means you could probably get a few hits in between the heals.. so some dmg would be nice...

I can't really advise whether putting it in STR or SPR is better...

LOL well you cant really go wrong with STR/END/SPR build with cleric...

get yourself a +9 shield and hammer and you're all set!

+9 gear isn't really a must for cleric.. it's more useful for mage/archer...

So ur saying go Str:1 End:1 Spr:1 ?
I'm basically repeating what ur saying but i just want to be sure. =]

And what stats would be recommended for the Hammer and/or shield...?

STR/END (Rest STR / 50 END)
END/SPR (50 END / 25 SPR... do whatever you like after that LOL)

STR/SPR is more for solo dmg clerics... (or people go pure STR but that's probably not something you're considering)

Stats in gear, I will look for END/DEX... clerics have really poor aim with the hammer.. so END/DEX is the go for clerics~ STR and SPR are pretty useless in gear IMO... coz you don't get the same benefits from Free stat...
