Sharp Shooter = Bow only
Ranger = X-Bow only
Kiting one enemy as Sharp Shooter is going to win out but kiting anything more than one Ranger wins out. You spam Natures Mist and Piercing Shot when kiting correct so that would ignore the attack rate from X-Bow meaning Ranger will be more effective for kiting multiple enemies at once.
Like I said Sharp Shooter is more suited for PvP or single target enemies.
The branch change class makes it very obvious that one class is more suited to PvP while the other PvE
Knight: PvE (1h, Shield, 2h only)
Gladiator: PvP (2h, Axe only)
Holy Knight: PvP (Mace only)
Guardian: PvE (Hammer only)
Sharp Shooter: PvP (Bow only)
Ranger: PvE (X-Bow only)
Wizard: PvE (Staff only)
Warlock: PvP (Wand only)
This is why when you hit Lv 100 you have to think long and hard after you cap do you want to PvP or be better efficient for PvE.
I'm going to make my fighter a Gladiator so I have one class more focused on PvP and if I ever get my archer to Lv 100 she is definitely going to be Ranger for better PvE so I have one PvP class and 1 PvE class.
