X-Bow Vs. Bow in a battle of the Crits...

perhaps they should add an evasion stat to the weapons... that would give lighter weapons a chance over the usually much preferred heavier ones...

Ohh I havent got NS yet.. is that why people go back to bow after level 60?

I chose it because I liked the look of the bow better, I guess at 70 a sylph song is just too good to pass up. Now that I think about it at 6X I spent most of my time kiting in abyss and xbow might have been better for crits.

@Jik: They should fix the Dex and maybe raise attack speed for archers. I mean arent we supposed to be speedy and stealthy...run in *boom boom boom* run out blazin.

I used a bow on my archer but think that xbows>bows.
From what I remember, I hardly ever use regular shots anyways... with full-cooldown on aimed shot, power shot, and mist, there's always a skill that's cooled down and ready to go. Even with single-targets, I use mist anyways because I have it maxed out on power and it does quite a bit of damage.
The only pro I see in bows is that it gives you an extra shot if you press attack after you use your skill.
As for SP consumption, I use a lot of SP. xD But I like to be able to do lots of damage as well so I pass up SP for more damage hahah.

NS doesn't help me much, because even when I have NS on I'm using skills anyways... which makes me feel like I'm wasting the buff. xD

Meh. x-bows seem a bit clunky is all... when attacking bows just feel like they attack more... smoothly, i guess. idk, i always just kinda prefered speed over power XD
