But I think aboriginals=/=African-Americans.

Our indigenous people (American Indian/Native American) have not had a lot of political success.

but just as the African Americans have been discriminated against, so have the Aboriginal here.

Obama's major election win ultimately will change everyone's mind about the country's attitude towards the race issue.

We need a similar success story here.
