What's the player base like these days? I remember it was quite busy early on which made completing the field events pretty fun but on the higher level maps it was pretty dead unless you were fighting world bosses :/

GW2 looks great, especially with Roshade. But I personally don't like the latest xpack mainly due to mounts. Okay, they have the best movement mechanics I've seen in mmorpg, but I prefer classic mounts like horses or wolves. In addition, with mounts and glider, this game loses a lot, especially during the first completion of the map.
