I do log in once every 2 years just to see what it's like. And each time I'm pretty surprised because my expectations are pretty low, but it seems like people still do play the game. That said, it has devolved into a cash shop fest, and atleast for me, the people who made the game fun i.e. my friends are no longer to be found there.

Yeah, their cash shop items add stats that give players with money an advantage which is pretty universally frowned upon now.
