Lvl 40 +9 Cost?

I'm currently level 38 on my cleric and I'm going to need a good level 40 weapon soon. How much would a +9 hammer cost? I am getting frustrated in trying to enhance...every time I get to +6 it gets destroyed or keeps downgrading...I don't have much sc...so no blue miles, gold nines, or red eyes.
I only have 300 or so silver so I probably can't get a +9...
What "+" could I afford?
Would you suggest that I change to a mace or stay with a hammer? (Assuming I'm soloing).
Does a +9 hammer usually cost more than a +9 mace?

+9's at lvl 40 usually cost around 7 or 8 gold, depending on your server. The most you could buy is probably a +3, which isn't terribly hard. Getting past +6 without sparkcash items is near impossible if you ask me. You're lucky to get that far.

On maces or hammers; hammers have a higher attack, so they're better for soloing, however they miss more than the mace. that is really the only difference.

If you've been lucky enough to get your weapon to +6, then I'd say simply keep it and don't waste more money. o.e

obviously I have no idea what anything is worth in the game
I have 1 green cleric lvl 30 weapon left (after destroying 2 of the 3) and I decided to buy a regular one and enhance it - just in case, I wanted to save the green one. Guess what? The reg one broke when I tried to get it to +2 D: lol
I'm in the server Bijou...is there a significant difference in price depending on the server?
