My mom who had been smoking for 25 went cold turkey.

But since she broke her leg and put on weight, she's been "secretly" smoking. Although I can see the layer of smoke when I walk into the livingroom, I can smell it, and when the heater comes on, I can smell it too <.< I think shes smoking so she can lose weight.

It seems like whether someone can quit smoking depends on their will..

"Addicted" doesn't seem to be a valid excuse, as I've seen some very heavy smokers from work (where no one though he could ever quit smoking)... quit smoking... just like that...

Well, as long as smoking is banned in all public places, I have no problem with it. They can put whatever poison they want in their lungs, and they can deny their child all the chocolates they want. It's perfectly within their rights.

I don't midn my parents smoking, it's when the smoke in the car and even when they role down the window half of it goes to me, It's toxic because then the other parent lights one up too. THEN They shout if I start to cover my mouth with my shirt saying I'm making a big deal out of it Â¬Â¬

Smoking, I think, suppresses appetite a little bit, yet resulting to smoking isent the wises way to lose weight.

But...yes, candy rots teeth, but if thats happening constantly, then theres a problem. Putting ciggs before kids, isent very nice D:
