question regarding crit/block/evade rates
so does the percentage for these apply over time or per hit?
for instance, will the game keep track of how many times you've blocked in the last 500 attacks and accomodate accordingly to make sure the percentage is correct?
or is it like every time you attack you flip a coin?
they both are viable options, although the second one would be much easier to implement into the game (random number generator) but the first one would be much more reliable as far as following the %. they both explain how in spite of only having 5 or 10% crit rate you can still sometimes get 3 or 4 crits in a row.

coz as far as i can see.. sometimes i crit more often than others... (i think i crit more with lower lvl mobs) so the % of crit u get per 500 hits probably change depending on the mob u're training on.... but the % of crit u're wearing is constant... which doesnt make sense as the % should match... So.. it's probably a chance thing...
i only talk about crit coz the % of me blocking or dodging is so small i can hardly comment on it -.-

the thing is the second one wouldn't necessarily be the percentage you crit at.
Think about it, there is a (1/2)^100 chance that a coin will land heads every time 100 times in a row.
so while the second one is more likely the method used, that means our crit% displayed isn't necessarily accurate.

I think of it like this:
1% crit: 1/100 shots gets crit
5% crit: 5/100 | 1/25 shots gets crit
It's like a 5% chance that that attack is going to crit.

It's entirely possible to critical 100 times in a row. Just your chances of it are extremely low.
If you have 5% critical rate, then you have 5% chance of getting a critical.
The way I'll try to explain it is that it's like having a certain number range (i.e. [1-10]) with a random number generator of [1-100]. [1,10] would be like 10% chance of critical. If any number between 1-10 is set as a critical for that particular hit, you get a critical. Higher critical rate increases the parameter of your individual number range, if you will.

Let me give another example: Fiesta's crit and block ratio are based on a simple idea, the same as statistics that companies use. You know, "1 out of 10 women will have breast cancer". It is entirely possible that you'll find two people with breast cancer next to each other.

i answered my own question today while farming.
each type of dust has an equal % of dropping, so in a perfect worl, you'd pick up the same amount of spirit, gem, and soul dust.
however i had discrepencies by as much as 50 pieces, showing this random number generator is actually not too incredibly accurate.
chances are they use it for every % in the game.
